Server
Welcome to the Salinella
server in the Department of Biology at the University of Ottawa. I'm Dr.
Jon Houseman and I maintain and use this server to support the courses
that I teach at the University. From handouts of the slides that we use in
the classroom to on-line glossaries of key terms, evaluation tools and
links to a variety of other resources can all be found on the web pages
for these courses.
I've also been involved in a variety of different aspects of
Instructional Technologies, most recently as the Assistant Director of
Computing and Communications Services responsible for Teaching
Technologies. The server also has my own home page and here you'll find
some of my publications and thoughts on the use, and abuse of this
powerful tool that is available to us in Higher Education.
